Born in Charleston, Ill., he came from North Dakota to Kathryn, Alberta, where he had farmed from 1910 to 1924 prior to moving to Calgary.
His wife, Zona, died in Calgary in April, 1941.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Glennie Cox , and Mrs. Fred W. Johnson, both of Calgary; two sons, Clifford C., of Calgary, and Dean L., of Lewiston, Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Josephine Moore, of Westfield, Ill., and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Jacques Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:45 o'clock with Mr. F. Remple officiating. Burial will be in the family plot, Burnsland cemetery.
