Born in Springfield on January 12, 1940, she was the daughter of James and Beatrice (Dionisi) Santillo. Lucy worked for many years for the City of Springfield School Department at the Dorman Elementary School. She was a lifelong resident of Springfield and communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she was a catechism teacher.
Lucy leaves her husband of 34 years, a son, three daughters, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sadly, Lucy was predeceased by her daughter, Rae Marie Linnell, her brother, Raymond Santillo, and her mother, Beatrice Magagnoli, whom she loved very much.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass for Lucy on Friday at 10 in Mt. Carmel Church followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.
