GRAND ISLE — Abel Levesque, 80, died in a Caribou hospital on Nov. 8. He was born in Grand Isle March 19, 1895, the son of Louis and Mathaide (Doucette) Levesque. He is survived by five sons; Alcide and Gerald, both of Cambridge, Mass., Ernie of Madawaska, Donald of Hartford, Conn, Yvon of Grand Isle; two brothers, Lawrence of Madawaska and Fred of East Hartford, Conn; one sister, Mrs. Olive Voisine of Biddeford. Visiting hours at Daigle Funeral Home of Madawaska will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to the time of the funeral. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
