Russell F. Adams married Mary Lee Smith on Jan. 3, 1915, in Union Co., Arkansas. They had two sons. One was born and died on Feb. 17, 1916; buried in Logtown or Faulk Cemetery at Fondale, LA. On Nov. 24, 1920, another son was born to them, Jack Vaughn Adams They adopted one daughter, Mary Katherine (Adams) Whittington. The Adams' sold out and moved to Monroe. Garland "Tuney" and Nell Shipp bought their house and land. They were living at Bosco when the 1930 Census was taken.
