Laverne Remmey died May 12, 2003 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home, where she had been a resident for a number of years. She was a former resident of Melrose Park, PA and a member of Melrose Carmel Presbyterian Church.
She was a volunteer for 20+ years at Jeannes Hospital and many years at Philadelphia Protestant Home.
She is survived by daughter Carol Della Penna, son Frank Remmey, 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Bill and sisters Virginia, Gloria and Nancy.
She was predeceased by her husband and her brother, Robert Meadowcroft.
