From The Reading Eagle, June 1, 1938:

Bowers, June 1 - Frank M. Angstadt, local farmer, died last night at his home, near here, aged 60. He was a son of the late James B. and Hannah (Mockley) Angstadt, and was a member of the Lutheran denomination of New Jerusalem Union Church.

Surviving are his widow, Lillie (Wolf) Angstadt; five sons, Lawrence, of Oley; Hunter, of Yellow House; Earl and Howard, both at home; and Paul, of Oley; four daughters, Mrs. Edison Fegley, Dryville; Mrs. Lester Schaeffer, Oley; Mrs. William Geist, at home; Mrs. Lloyd Dreibilbis, Virginville; 18 grandchildren and six sisters, Mrs. Charles Conrad, Fleetwood R.D.; Mrs. Robert Welder, Kutztown R.D.; Mrs. Robert Barto, Reading; Mrs. David Reinhart, Fleetwood R.D.; Mrs. Edwin Potts, Stoney Creek Mills, and Mrs. Willard Rhoads, New Jerusalem.

Funeral Saturday at 2 p.m. at the home. Further services in New Jerusalem Church, the Rev. William F. Bond officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Directors J.J. Schofer and Son, Topton, have charge.
