Orangeburg - Heyward Corbett, 70, a retired Air Force veteran, died Thursday at his residence. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today in Fogle Cemetery, near Neeses, according to Thompson Funeral Home. Mr. Corbett was born in Neeses, a son of E.B. Corbett and Nattie L. Douglas Corbett. He also served in the Army, and was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a member of the VFW and Neeses Baptist Church. Surviving are two brothers, L. B. 'Bill' Corbett and H. 'Pete' Corbett, both of North. © The Post and Courier, Charleston, SC, 22 Jul 1996
