FRED VIOLETT - Fred Garner Violett, 72, of 7040 Hawthorne Lane, died Monday
night in Deaconess Hospital. He had been a patient about a week.
He was born on May 17, 1900, in Rosendale County (should be Rosendale, Andrew County), Mo., a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Violett, and spent his childhood in Minnesota. He moved to Billings in 1936. He married Mrs. Oma Ball in California, Dec., 1963.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, Wayne of 615 Alderson Ave., and Fred Jr. of 4136 Clevenger Ave.; two daughters, Mrs. Elwin Sanders of Rt. 3, Billings, and Mrs. Joseph Barth of 838 Heights Lane; two brothers and two sisters; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Smith's Funeral Home is in charge.
