ETHEL McBRIDE
Mrs. Ethel Donnie McBride, age 94, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 9, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. McBride was born October 8, 1917, in Fouke, Arkansas, and had lived all of her life in Miller County, Arkansas. She was a member of Cathedral Heights Church of the Nazarene, was a retired nurses aide, and was as homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie McBride, five sons, Walter McBride, Gene McBride, J. C. McBride, Gary McBride, and Wayne McBride, five grandchildren, Doris Nowlin, Danny Terry, Joey Terry, Melissa Corn and Toni McBride, and one great-grandchild, T.C. McBride.
Survivors include six daughters, Bobbie Olson of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Thelma Durham of Texarkana, Arkansas, Louise Terry of Linden, Texas, Jeanie Anderson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Barbara Corn and Denise Johnson of Texarkana, Texas, three sons, Vernon McBride of Zwolle, Louisiana, Billy McBride of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Randy McBride of New Boston, Texas, fifty grandchildren, one hundred one great-grandchildren, and thirty-three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Wallace Edgar and Rev. Ken Guthrie officiating. Burial will be at Sylverino Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Tuesday.
