Betty (Bessie) l. Haverfield of Brentwood, AR passed away from natural causes on October 14, 2004 at the age of 91. She resided in Temple, Texas.
Bessie was a homemaker, and worked as a Nurses Aid. She was an avid fisherwoman and loved the Colorado Mountains. She lived in Paonia, CO for five and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, William Dale Haverfield in 1991, and children; Lilas Jerome, Cecil Haverfield, Darlene Palmer and Loren Haverfield.
She is survived by sons Levon Turner of LaJunta, CO, Gary Haverfield of Monte Vista, CO, Wayne Turner of Aztec, N.M., Wayne Haverfield of Liberal, KS, and Garrett Haverfield of Temple, TX. Also surviving is daughter Patricia Kummel, of San Antonio, TX; 39 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Bessie will be held Friday October 22, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Huslig officiating. Burial will follow.
