Ruby Burden Marbrey, 94, of Huntsville passed away Monday.

Mrs. Marbrey was one of nine children born to Annie and James Burden. She was a longtime resident of Huntsville and a Redstone Arsenal retiree. She was a devoted member of Huntsville Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, Willard T. Marbrey, daughter June B. Lowery and grandson, Jeffrey R. Ryan.

Survivors are daughter ,Gwen Berry and husband, Jim; two granddaughters, Lisa Mullins and husband Jay, and Pam Cochran and husband Larry; one grandson, Chad Ryan and wife Daphne; seven great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Rachel Greenwell.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Berryhill Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mylon Metcalf will officiate. Interment will be at Faith Memorial Park in Madison. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday until the start of services.

The family would like to extend its appreciation to the staff of Riverside Assisted Living in Decatur, Millennium Nursing and Rehabilitation in Huntsville, and to the doctors and staff at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville.
