Mrs. Clara Agnes Long, 79, formerly of 529 Main St., McSherrystown who resided the past seven months at a Hanover R. 5 convalescent home, died Tuesday morning at 6:12 at Hanover Hospital. Her husband, Ralph Joseph Long, died April 19, 1966.
A daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Topper) Oaster, she was a member of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Frederick Gouker, 330 South St., McSherrystown; Raymond F. Long, 431 High St., Hanover, and Clarence E. Long, 200 N. Oxford Ave., McSherrystown; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Simon Oaster, Philadelphia, and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Lawrence, 305 1/2 Third St., Hanover.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning with meeting at 8:30 at the Walter funeral Home, Ridge Ave., McSherrystown to go to Annunciation Church for the requiem mass at 9. Rev. Hubert J. Keeley, assistant pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in McSherrystown Thursday evening with prayers to be recited in the funeral home that evening at 8 o'clock.
