Ira H. Freeman, 1599 Gaither, former cotton ginner and merchant of Wyatt, Miss., who moved to Memphis about two years ago, died at 3:40 p.m. yesterday at John Gaston Hospital. He had been an invalid most of the time since coming to Memphis. He was 65.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Maude Martin Freeman, Memphis; his sister, Mrs. Jewell Casey, Independence, Miss., and two brothers, Cecil Freeman, Whitehaven, and Hardy Freeman, Mineral Wells, Miss.
Services at 3 p.m. today at Wyatt Baptist Church. Burial in Tyro Cemetery. Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch, Miss., in charge.
