Kirklin - Sarah Ellen Woodruff Kingsolver, 60, Route 1, Kirklin, died in her home at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday, following a short illness.

Born August 4, 1927, in Clinton County, she had lived in Kirklin for 40 years. Her marriage was to Charles H. Kingsolver in 1946. He survives.

Mrs. Kingsolver was a member of Kirklin Firemen's Auxiliary; and Kirklin American Legion Auxiliary.

She was a den mother and Girl Scout Leader for 11 years and was a volunteer at the Opportunity Center in Frankfort.

Surviving with the husband are a son, Cecil Bradley Kingsolver of Kirklin; a daughter, Mrs. John (Kathy) Payton of Michigantown; her mother, Edna Bible Woodruff of Frankfort; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Wilma) Forney of Rossville and Mrs. William (Glenda) Kiger of Lafayette; and five brothers, Clinton Woodruff, Fred Woodruff, and Harold Woodruff, all of Frankfort, Cleo Woodruff of Russiaville and Kenneth Woodruff of Indianapolis.
