Colhoun. On April 12, 1887, Bordley F. Colhoun, son of M.A. and Rear Admiral E.R. Colhoun., U.S. Navy. Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services at 1612 21st street northwest on Friday next at 3 p.m. Interment private. Youngest son of Rear Admiral Colhoun

The Evening Star, April 13, 1887 A Death-Bed Marriage A Pathetic Scene at the Residence of Rear Admiral Colhoun

Bradley F. Colhoun, the youngest son of Rear Admiral E.R. Colhoun, and the private secretary of Rear Admiral Rowan, died last evening at the residence of his father, 1612 21st street, of pneumonia. The deceased was 28 years of age and when he was told that his end was near he expressed a wish that a marriage ceremony, uniting him in wedlock with Miss Eleanor M. Semmes, the daughter of Mr. John H. Semmes, of this city, to whom he had been engaged for three years, be performed before his death. Rev. Dr. Perry of St. Andrew's Episcopal church, was summoned, and at 1 o'clock the ceremony took place. At 6 o'clock the bridegroom had passed away.
