Jim Robinson, 82, of Norris City passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:55 a.m. at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Jim was born in Oklahoma on April 27, 1930 the son of Loyd Grisham and Fleda Sarah (Blankenship) Robinson. Jim married Marjorie L. McKenzie on May 15, 1954 and she preceded him in death on August 27, 2011.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War, had worked as a truck driver in the oil field and was a member of Norris City United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge, May Lodge #715.
Jim is survived by a son, Terry Robinson; a sister, Mary Endicott; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Rev. Janet Roy officiating.
Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City.
