Mae N. Bartram

A former Allen resident who had lived in Emporia since 1979, Mrs. Ralph Bartram, 1345 Prairie Park Lane, died Tuesday evening at Newman Hospital. She and her husband, who survives, lived in Allen for 60 years. Mrs. Bartram was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a former member of the Dow Valley Club.

A service in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel will be Friday and 2 P.M. conducted by Rev. Jack Waterman of Emporia. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Beta Sigma Phi Heart Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.

Mrs. Bartram, the former Mae N. Dick, was born in Glencoe, Okla., May 28, 1900, to Ulysses Grant and Mary Elizabeth Weaver Dick. She married Ralph Bartram in Burlingame on Aug 4, 1919. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Ralph Dean Bartram, 817 Rural St.; one daughter, F. Avanell Dilley, 1012 Grand St.; two brothers, Mervil Dick of Parkerville and Marvin Dick of San Jose, Calif.; three sisters, Pauline Green of Perry, Hazel Loggains of Wichita and Juanita Swerdfegger of Pueblo, Colo.; three grandchildren, Jeannette Hoy, Judy Krueger and Ron Dilley, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, five brothers and two sons, George (Bud) Bertram and one who died in infancy.
