He is survived by his wife, Blanche Combs of Hazard; three sons, Jack C. Combs Jr., of Trotwood, Ohio, Bill N. Combs of Hazard, and Joey S. Combs of Vicco; one brother, Napoleon Combs of Urbancrest, Ohio, and three sisters, Dorothy Adams of Cincinnatti, Ohio, Sallie Neace of Columbus, Ohio. and Greta Brandon of Detroit, Michigan. Four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive him.
Services for Jack C. Combs will be held Saturday, July 28, 2001 at 1:00 pm at Town Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. John Prat officiating. Visitation will
be Friday, July 27, 2001, from 6:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Maggard Brothers Funerat Home. Bural will be in tha Lick Branch Cemetery at Hazard. Maggard Brothers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
