BEARD, PHILLIP R., 67, of Hillview, returned to his Heavenly Father on May 16, 2012.
Mr. Beard was a union carpenter and a member of Zoneton Masonic Lodge #964.
Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, George and Laverne Beard.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 49 years, Sandy Beard; son, John Beard; grandchildren, Brittany, Nikki and Robbie, Austin, and Lexi; great-grandchildren, Derek, Blake and Leah; brother, Mel Beard; sisters, Brenda, Alice, Lynn and Betty Beard.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 4 p.m. until time of service at Schoppenhorst.
