Charlie served in the U. S. Army during W.W.II. He farmed most of his lifetime; he also worked for his brother Guy in the woods, worked for C.N. Turner Store in Livermore, and drove school bus for a couple years. Charlie was a member of the Canton V.F.W. and Agrimart.
He was survived by his son, Wesley Gordon and his wife Fern of Livermore; 5 daughters, Barbara Gates and her husband Sam of Bakerfield, VT., Joann Fink and her husband Dan of East Granby, CT., Pearl Boutwell of Livermore; Edith Bragg of Canton; and Pat Litalien and her husband, Paul also of Livermore 44 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, 4 brothers, Ralph, Pearly, John "Guy" and Clyde Gordon and 4 sisters, Elsie Lee, Clara Bryant, Bertha Sullivan and Florence Capen.
