Livermore – Charlie S. Gordon, 94, lifelong resident of Livermore, died peacefully, Wednesday evening, June 6th at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 5, 1918 in South Livermore, the son of John L. and Georgia Mae (Seavey) Gordon. Charlie attended school in Brettuns (Livermore). On November 18, 1938 in North Livermore, he married his wife of nearly 60 years, Mildred Pearl Bartlett. She died September 12, 1998.

Charlie served in the U. S. Army during W.W.II. He farmed most of his lifetime; he also worked for his brother Guy in the woods, worked for C.N. Turner Store in Livermore, and drove school bus for a couple years. Charlie was a member of the Canton V.F.W. and Agrimart.

He was survived by his son, Wesley Gordon and his wife Fern of Livermore; 5 daughters, Barbara Gates and her husband Sam of Bakerfield, VT., Joann Fink and her husband Dan of East Granby, CT., Pearl Boutwell of Livermore; Edith Bragg of Canton; and Pat Litalien and her husband, Paul also of Livermore 44 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, 4 brothers, Ralph, Pearly, John "Guy" and Clyde Gordon and 4 sisters, Elsie Lee, Clara Bryant, Bertha Sullivan and Florence Capen.
