Mrs. Works, of 5337 Wenclah, had been trustee for The Hockaday School, a college preparatory school for girls; Dallas County Heritage Society, Canterbury House at Southern Methodist University campus.
She was a mamber of the Junior League of Dallas, Theater III, and the Shakespeare Club. She was active in the Dallas Art Museum.
The former Alice Smith Boggess, she was a graduate of The Hockaday School, and Smith College.
She was former National President of the the Hockaday Alumna Board.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Friday, in St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church. Burial Grove Hill Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, two sons and two daughters.
