A funeral for Murphy L. Beshears, 87, 1226 Stevens Ave., who died today at Medical Center Hospital, will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Earl Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Beshears; four sons, Murphy L. Beshears, Bellive (Belleville?), N.J.; John A. Beshears, Houston, Tex.; Arthur R. Beshears, Huntsville, and Donald R. Beshears, Athens; five daughters, Mrs. Janette Osborne, and Mrs. Lucy Schrimsher, both of Huntsville, Mrs. Gertrude Alexander, Madison; Mrs. Gay Nell Champion, Houston, and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Boyd, Hayward, Calif.; 40 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the funeral.
