OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Our Lady Queen of Angels for Adrien Stone "Stoney" Angelle, 25, who died at 9:06 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at his residence.
Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.
The Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.
He was a 1999 graduate of Beau Chene High School. He worked for Sam's Wholesale in Lafayette until he was involved in an accident. He passed away quietly at home after a four year illness from complications of a severe auto accident.
He is survived by his parents, Stafford "Pip" and Marilyn Dekerlegand Angelle, of Opelousas, La.; his daughter, Adrienne Lyn Lalonde, of Opelousas, La.; his maternal grandmother, Edna B. Dekerlegand, of Opelousas, La.; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Bergeron, of Arnaudville, La.; his sisters, Antoinette Lalonde and husband, Cole, of Opelousas, La. and Ariel Christine Angelle, of Opelousas, La.; and his God-parents, Brian and Mona Stanford, of Port Barre, La..
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eddie Dekerlegand and his paternal grandfather, Antoine Bergeron.
The family extends special thanks to all the caregivers for the wonderful help they provided, Judy Smith, Renee Collins, Marella Hardy, Merrel Dean David, Shannon Stanford and Melissa Richard.
Pallbearers will be Eric Gautreaux, Cole Lalonde, Eddie Dekerlegand, Brian Stanford, Danny Faul and Lavren Carrier.
