Barbara C. "Bobby" Watson, 80, of Wintersville, OH, formerly of Frankfort Road, New Cumberland, WV, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Trinity West in Steubenville, OH.
She was born November 30, 1933, in Wintersville, OH, a daughter of the late Raymond and Beulah (Crace) Peters.
Bobby was a former employee of Cowl's Produce Stand, a homemaker and a member of Point Pleasant United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide for more than 50 years.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Watson; three sisters, Kate Watson, Louise Kitchen and Teresa DeVries; two brothers, Raymond J. Peters and Roscoe H. Peters.
Surviving are three children, Rhonda (James) Kukor of Wintersville, OH, Robert (Cari) Watson of Monroe, GA, James (Debbie) Watson of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren, Christopher Kukor, Jordan Watson and Ian Watson.
Friends will be received Monday from 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home in New Cumberland, WV.
Services will be held at the Point Pleasant United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Rowe and Rev. Billy Ray Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery New Manchester, WV.
