When Mom was in her teens, her parents moved to Killingly, CT., with her and her siblings. It was in Killingly, that Mom, met a handsome Navy man named Richard "Choo" Armand Trahan and they wed on August 8, 1958. Together, they purchased their first home on Bailey Hill Road in Killingly, and raised 4 children. Mom always wanted to return to her beloved Jonesport. So, when the children were grown, and Daddy retired, they purchased a "little fixer upper" on the East Side Road, in Addison and sold their home in CT, where Mom and Daddy spent their days turning their house into a home. Sadly, Daddy passed away suddenly on December 28, 1992, just one year after they had moved to Addison, and Mom was left on her own.
Anita is survived by her mother, Charlene Beal Wagner, her son, Richard Trahan, of Florida, her daughters, Trenda Trahan-Kinney and spouse Peter, and Faylene Trahan-Tiffany and spouse Philip, a brother, Roland "Bo" Beal and spouse, Penny. She is also survived by her grandchildren, James Beaudoin, Richard Trahan Jr., Nicholas Trahan and spouse, Lauren, Mathew Kowalsky and spouse, Amanda, Crystal Kowalsky and fiancé John Lude, Trina Tiffany-Chandler and spouse Roy, and Tanya Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Megan Trahan, Genevive Trahan, Jennifer and Whittney Kowalsky, Dominick and Damien Jones, Adrian Tiffany, and her unborn Great Grandson due in July. Mom was pre deceased by her husband, Richard Trahan, her father, Roland Beal, her brother, Hurley Beal, her older sister Loretta and her youngest son, Dale Robert Trahan.
Mom's wishes were to be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery in Jonesport, ME., with her youngest boy, Dale Robert, and her Dad, and husband Richard. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a graveside service on Saturday, June 9th 2012 at 1pm.
