Funeral services for Gladys Elizabeth Jones (87) were held at the Fairview Chapel, Pettus, Owen and Wood Funeral Home January 13, 1999. Fred Mayberry, minister of the Fairview Church of Christ officiated. A homemaker and a member of the Fairview Church of Christ, Miss Gladys died January 11 1999 at Green Valley NHC Health Care Center in Dickson, Tennessee. Preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jones, she is survived by her son Lucien Jones and his wife Neil Jones of Fairview; sister Deloris Buttrey of Nashville and brother Vernon Buttrey of Fairview. Other survivors include four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Her grandchildren were pallbearers. Interment was in the Lampley Cemetery in Fairview.
