Funeral rites were conducted at the Rigdon Methodist church on Saturday with the Rev. Floyd White officiating. Burial was in the Knox Chapel cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Sara; one son, Estes Day, Philadelphia, Pa.; one daughter, Miss Bessie Day, Michigan City, Ind., one grandson, four brothers, Isaac, Whittier, Calif.; John, Marion; Ed, Rigdon, and Charles, Alexandria; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Lawson, Mrs. Liza Todd, and Mrs. Lizzie Cooper, Rigdon, a half sister, Mrs. Emmaline Brown, Rigdon, and nine step-children.
