William A. Wren, of 1408 Stonewall, died Wednesday at 12:10 a.m. in a lcoal hospital.

Funeral service will be today at 4 p.m. at the Sorrells-Peters Funeral Chapel with Dr. Marvin Moseley officiating. Burial will be at East Mount Cemetery.

Born in Greenville March 26, 1902, he was the son of Thomas and Wilma McMillon Wren. He married Ruby Pearce Dec. 23, 1945. He was a retired Navy veteran who served in World War I, World War II and Korea. Mr. Wren was a retired machinst, a member of the American Legion and Park Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of Greenville; daughter, Cathy Goforth of Greenville; brother, David Wren of Galveston; sisters, Mildred Smith of Galena Park and Louise Holland of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren.

Sorrells-Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
