Robert Lamar Boyd, 90, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital in Deming.
Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory and no services are planned.
Robert was born August 17, 1921 to Thelma Tankersley and Jeff E. Boyd in Bromide, Oklahoma. He served in the U S Army during World War II, was a retired mechanic and had moved to Deming a year and a half ago.
He is survived by a son, Jeff Boyd and wife Allison of Silver City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Odette Boyd in 2006.
