Catherine M. Groover, 84, died Dec 4, 2007, at Memorial Hospital, McPherson.
She was born Dec. 12, 1922, Plymouth, Ind., the daughter of John D., and Bertha Vera Burns Bridenstine. She worked at Goshen Stamping Co. in Goshen, Ind., she also worked as a waitress. She was a resident of McPherson since 2001, after moving from Goshen, Ind.

She belonged to McPherson Church of the Brethren.

In 1947, she married Clyde W. Brenneman. He died in 2000.

Survivors include: two sons, Leroy Cramer, Goshen, Ind., Gerald Brenneman, Oklahoma City; three daughters, Brenda Sweeten, Ruth Ann Reeder, both of Hagerstown, Md., and Carol Brenneman Juarez, Guadalajara, Mexico; a sister, Ruth Vanderveer, Leo, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McPherson Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Chris Whitacre. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
