Dr. Wilson, a native of Optima, Okla., practiced dentistry in Grant City, Mo., before removing his practice to Maryville in 1939. He was a graduate of the Kansas City Dental College (now UMKC). A retired lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserves, Dr. Wilson served for four years in the Army Air Corps during World War II, 28 months of which were in the European Theater. He was past president of the Missouri Dental Society.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Marguerite Wilson of the home; three daughters, Sarah J. Marine, Ann Wilson Bruck and Sue Wilson Reeves, all of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Russell O'Neal and Mrs. Ralph Schlarb, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and ten grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Price chapel here. The Rev. Bob Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery." St Joseph Gazette, June 8, 1978
