She is survived by one stepdaughter, Susan Ribble Pratt, Waterville, Ohio; two grandchildren, William Hamilton Pratt and Margaret Alden Pratt; and several cousins.
She graduated from the Lexington Senior High School and the University of Kentucky. She was a life member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Club. She organized the First Young Democrat Club in Fayette County, and was executive secretary of the Young Democrats of Kentucky. She was a former president of the Local Democratic Woman's Club of Fayette County and had served four years as Deputy County Clerk of Fayette County, former member and president of the American Association of University Women, the Altrusa Club, the Womans Club of Central Kentucky, the Salvation Army Auxiliary, Cardinal Hill Hospital Auxiliary, the Kentucky Historical Society, and former director of Girl's State. She was a member of the PEO Chapter K, member of the Spindletop Hall, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. today at Carlisle Cemetery. W. R. Milward Mortuary-Southland, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
