Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Pearl Madden Carter, age 72, of Lake Providence, Louisiana will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel of Lake Providence. Reverend Terry Jordan will officiate. Interment will follow in the Providence Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Providence. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence.
Mrs. Carter passed from this life on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Andy Carter, Jr.; and her parents, William Wesley Madden and Lillie Pearl Hickman Madden.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael Ray and Bobbi Joe Carter of Decatur, Alabama; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Joe Carter and Lana Lee of West Monroe, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Charles Hicks of Lake Providence, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Tommy Lemke of St. Joseph, Louisiana; brother, John Wyly Madden of Louisville, Mississippi; brother, Tom Wesley Madden of Hardin, Texas; brother, James Sullivan of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister, Paulette Madden Pace of Louisville, Mississippi; sister, Loreen Hickman of Bastrop, Louisiana; sister, Miriam Chain of Livingston, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
