Most recently, she owned and operated "Ruby's Salon" on Grosebeck.

Ruby played softball and basketball in her youth and was an avid League bowler for the last 50+ years, having wrapped up her final season this last March. She was a Tigers and Pistons fan, wathcing them regulary on TV.

Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church for many years and participated in a lot of social events with the congreation. Twelve years ago she joined the DAR-Alexander Macomb Chapter and enjoyed attending their many meetings, outings and social events.
