Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Daily Republican, Tuesday, October 18, 1898:
DIED AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. Anna L. Mumma Passed Away Yesterday Noon.
At noon yesterday occurred the death of Mrs. Anna L. Mumma at St. Luke's hospital after a sickness of some duration. Her death was not unexpected, however. Services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock, Dr. David S. McCaslin officiating. The remains will be taken to La Crescent, Minn., for burial. Mrs. Mumma was the wife of O. D. Mumma, the well-known conductor on the B., C. R. & N. railway, and they resided at No. 718 B avenue.
