Uneata Mae Thompson, 84, of Martinsville, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1988 at her residence.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Prust Hosch Funeral Chapel, West Union, with the Rev. Jim Freeman officiating. Burial was in Medsker Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 9, 1904 in Henryville, Ind. to Alexander and Dora Findley Ball. Her husband, Garnet Thompson, preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1983.
She was a former West Union resident and member of Darwin Ladies Aid.
Surviving are her son, George Thompson of Athens, Ga.; daughter, LaVera Morrison of Minden, La.; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
