She is the last of the eight children born to William E. Pixley and Abbey Lewis. Aristeen (Pixley) Munn's sister Abbey (1822-1885) m. William Haynes Hanford Jr. of Scottsville, Monroe, NY, USA. They had six ch.: Franklin Hanford, Ellis (Hanford) Curtiss (Ella), Charles Lewis Hanford (Lew), the twins Nancy Jane (Nanny) and Mary Frances (Fanny), and Emma (Hanford) Smith.
