It is unknown who took in her youngest brother Hadley, but he was eventually found spelling his surname as Rhoades.
Abbie married Levi Ernest Joslin on September 6, 1899, in Brooklyn, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Levi was born August 27, 1877, in Maple Grove, Hennepin County, Minnesota, the son of William Penn and Georgia Ann (Morehouse) Joslyn. Abbie and Levi had the following known children:
1. Leslie Dair Joslin (1900-1921)
2. Helen Melvene (Joslin) Mcfeters (1900-1921)
3. Cora Bell (Joslin) 1) Kjolvik, 2) Hancock (1908-1994)
