Married Adelaide Alice Butler. On his daughter Adelaide Sarah's birth record it says he was born in Dubuque, Iowa. Only source for it. Some of his siblings have christening records from that city. I didn't find one for him. He was raised in St. Clair County, Illinois, and later moved to Denver, CO, with his mother Sarah I. Boyle nee McNair and sister. Later moved to Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory (in Oklahoma), followed by Las Animas County, CO, then Walsenburg, CO. All of their seven children's memorials are linked up to their parents on this site.
He was a coal miner as was his father. To be determined if he followed in his father's footsteps in regards to miner union organizing and membership.
