Richard F. Borkenhagen. 65,
of Adell, died early this morning
at his home following a lingering
illness.
He was born on August 10,
1892, in the Town of Sherman,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Borkenhagen. He attended Lutheran
School in the Town of
Sheboygan and was married on
Nov. 7, 1915, to Miss Emma
Spieker. The couple resided in
Kiel for two years before returning
to Adell, where he was
a blacksmith for 12 years. After
that they farmed in the Town
of Sherman for 22 years. He
retired in 1951. at which time
the couple returned to Adell.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon
at Emmanuel Lutheran Church
n Adell. The Rev. Richard Bolin,
pastor,will be in charge of the
service.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Survivors include: the widow;
three sons, Noah, of Milwaukee.
Martin, of Cleveland, Ohio,
and Arno of Adell.
three daughters, Mrs. Sid (Eldora)
Oglan, of Hingham, Mrs. Bernard (Esther)
Bruchert, Mrs Duane (Irene) Polly both
of Milwaukee; 16 grandchildren;
wo sisters. Mrs. Louis (Ida)
Speiker and Miss Anna Borkenhagen.

two brothers. Ernst, of Plymouth.
and John, of Town Sherman.
