Mrs. Mary Skeen, wife of C. C. Skeen died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otto Pegee, on Sunday morning, after an illness of several days. The funeral was held at the home of Mrs. Pegee, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Cissna conducting the services, after which the remains were laid to rest in Cliff Hill cemetery. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Florence Pegee, of this place, and Mrs. Ewing Row, of Indianapolis, one sister and a number of relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Hezekiah Hughs, of North Vernon, were called here Sunday by the death of Mrs. Calvin C. Skeen.
