He was a native of Henry County, an agent for Commonwealth Life Insurance Co., and an Army veteran of World War II. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at W.G. Hardy Valley Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Highway, with burial at 1 p.m. in Pleasureville Cemetery in Henry County. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 5 p.m. Sunday.
