ARTHUR G. DULL

Arthur G. Dull, 76, of Beaverton died Tuesday, Sept. 14 in the Clare Nursing Home.

He was born Oct, 4, 1905 in Gladwin County, the son of Harvey and Ida (Eckley) Dull. He married the former Freed L. Cockrane on August 8, 1925 in Sheridan Township.

Mr. Dull lived in the area all his life and was a farmer, a land improvement contractor and a surveyor. He was a member of the Elm Grove Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Freeda; a son, Lewis Dull of Butner, North Carolina; 2 daughters, Mrs, Bryan D. (Shirley) Miller of Clare, Mrs. Jerry (Lorraine) Shann of Bay City and a foster daughter, Mrs. Duane (Rilla) Seibt of Clare; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leon Dull of Clare.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 17 in the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home in Clare with Mrs. Wilma Shurlow and Rev, Sid Stubbs officiating. Burial was in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare. (The Clare Sentinel, p. 6 - Clare, MI - 22 September 1982)
