Pioneer Blumfield Resident Passes
John Adam Hartman a lifelong resident of Blumfield township died Tuesday at his home at Frankentrost.
He was born May 15, 1862 in Blumfield township and was married there to Miss Katherine Popp on June 15, 1887. Surviving are his widow, a son, William Hartman, at home; three daughters, Miss Kuni Hartman at home, Mrs. Albert Mueller of Frankentrost and Mrs. Elmer Kern of Saginaw; one broher, Michael Hartman of Blumfield two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Kern of Richfield and Mrs. Fred Brechtelsbauer of Saginaw and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 1:45 p. m. at Immanuel Lutheran church, Frankentrost Rev. C. W. Schoenow will officiate and burial will be in the Frankentrost cemetery.
