Robert S. Andrews, 89, of 6911 Johnny Mercer Blvd. died Monday at Oceanside Nursing Home after a long illness.
The Savannah native lived in Gainesville, Fla., for many years before returning to Savannah in 1962. He retired as chief engineer for the Manger Hotel.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Andrews Moore, Miss Mildred Andrews and Mrs. Margaret Andrews Jay, all of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Helen A. Bryant of Savannah.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
