Her given German name was Lille Luise Johanna Wenzinger, but she later was known as Lillian Louise.

Her grandchildren called her "Nanny" and her German mother Wenzinger "Grossmama." (At right, she is holding her grandson, Arthur.)

The Redifer household also included unmarried Aunt Ida and Uncle "Meck" (Americus) Redifer, unmarried siblings of her husband.

At the home of the bride's parents, Twenty-second and Clearfield Streets, on October 23rd, by the Rev. A. Linsz. Mr. Andrew Perry Redifer to Miss Lillian Wenzinger, both of this city.

Another Philadelphia record reports the marriage as two days later (or possibly just recorded by the church then) at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Philadelphia, PA (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/V2XH-TQQ). It is not yet clear which of several Trinity Evangelical Lutherans in Philadelphia this was.

Four of her siblings died as toddlers. Only she and her brother Charles lived to adulthood and marriage.
