Funeral services for Mrs. Ella English, 92, of San Antonio, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with Rev. Roscoe Deaton officiating. Burial will be in the Enon Cemetery in Houston County.
Mrs. English is survived by 112 direct descendants.
A resident of Houston and Trinity counties most of her life, she died Friday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Barclay of Sweeney, Texas. She was visiting with her daughter when she suffered a fatal heart attack.
Mrs. English had been a member of the Baptist Church since early childhood.
Survivors include
* Daughters: Mrs. John Barclay of Sweeney and Mrs. E. E. Moore of San Antonio
* Sons: Dow Jones of Houston, James Jones of Woodlake, Woodie English of Lufkin and Joe English of Groveton
* 26 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
