Perry Williamson, 90, retired carpenter of Butler, and a lifelong resident of Montgomery county, died at his home in Butler, Wednesday norning at 4:30 o'clock, following an illness from complications.

Mr. Williamson was the last surviving member of the Sidney B. Phillips post, G.A.R. of Litchfield. Mr. Williamson served with the Company B, 144th Illinois infantry during the Civil war.

A son of the late William and Eliza Swallow Williamson, the decedent was born May 16th, 1845. He was united in marriage with Miss Emma Vrooman of the Butler community on November 25, 1875. She preceded her husband in death in 1891.

Surving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Grace Karrick and Miss Eleanor Williamson, both of Butler. Three grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren also survive him together with a sister, Mrs. Alice Doerr of Morrisonville.

Funeral services are being arranged for Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence in Butler. Internment will be made in the Oak Grove cemetery in Hillsboro.
