She was born July 23, 1918 in Coleman, Texas. She was the secretary for Grammar's Department Store for many years and then worked at Coleman Independent School District as secretary until retiring. She moved to Big Spring fifteen years ago from Coleman. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Coleman.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Pam Beauchamp and her husband Roy Don of Big Spring and Dana Dodson of Stockton, California; 2 grandchildren: Cindy Walsh and her husband Craig of Victoria and Joe Dodson of San Diego, California; 2 great grandchildren: Branson Walsh and Jarrett Walsh both of Victoria; and a niece Mary Griffis of Valera.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Hap Aston; 3 brothers: Carl Stewart, Osie Stewart and Bill Stewart; and a nephew Freddie Stewart.
