DEATH OF JOSEPH D. GLENN
Joseph D. Glenn, of Woodland, whose serious illness in Levering hospital at Hannibal, was stated last week, died Wednesday night where he had been taken a few days before. He had only been a resident of the Woodland neighborhood a short time, having moved there last May. He was a life-long resident of Marion county, however, having been born near Philadelphia March 15, 1878, and had spent his life in the Philadelphia, Maywood and Taylor vicinities. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Hester Baptist church, of which he had been a member since youth. Surviving him are three sisters: Mrs. W. H. Vincent of Bloomdale, Mo., Mrs. W. H. Teed of Buffalo, Mo, and Mrs. Kincaid, of Woodland; two brothers, Robert Glenn, of Taylor and John Glenn.
